Flugtag or “flying day” as in German was first introduced in the UAE in 2005. This event aims to test the capability of human mind to build a flying machine that can soar in the sky before plunging in the waters…
This year it’s the 1st year to be held in Kuwait. Many teams are participating,some are sponsored by companies others individuals. I bet it will be an exciting day since it’s fun! Many bloggers I know are participating. So you bloggers out there better show up and give your support.

Two weeks in Lebanon were amazing for me although the first couple of days I was sick with the flu but managed to go out with friends. I was surprised to see how my people are so easy going with the whole mess the country is facing.Everything is normal..people shopping,others in cafes…nightlife still rocks as usual and even better. Most of my time I sat with the family because they really missed me this time but I sneaked out to many places…My day would start having a good breakfast with parents then lunchtime with friends…then shopping in Verdun…afterwards having a drink in downtown..My nights would start in Gemmayze which is the hotspot in Lebanon these days I really was surprised how this tight narrow street is fully packed by people…went to some nice pubs there such as Cactus,Spoon,Hickies before heading to real clubbing…:P I was lucky to attend last night at SKY BAR before their closing since winter is approaching…My best nights were at Music Hall,White,and Blush..Also I went to Chah and Owtar…Overall it was a wonderful escape for me…I’m taking a break from alcohol now…:P
What I will miss is Almaza beer…:P and ofcourse MOM’s food!

I’m going to be out of town for the coming two weeks.I’ll be in Lebanon spending time with my family…I’m so excited for this trip,just hope that nothing happens when I’m there..Since March I haven’t seen my parents,I can’t wait to arrive and give them a big hug …I miss so many things,the nice weather,walking in Solidere and Hamra street..going to Jbeil…enjoying my breakfast in the garden…damn I can’t wait to get there!! Not to forget Mama’s food,the best in the world!! (those who met Mom and ate at my house know what I’m talking about)
My flight is tomorrow,I’ll be returning on Oct 26. Guys if you want anything from there just send me an email : mazeneid76@hotmail.com
