It was a cold day and I wasn’t in the mood going to Disney,but my cousin insisted that I should go there and have a look.We went at noon nearly and it was so crowded like we had to wait for more than 20 mins to get into the rides.I’m not a disney fan and actually I’ve seen all of the rides in Paris…we finished around 6 pm and left.But what made my day there,was putting my pic in the famous scarface scene for Al Pacino…I laughed so much at myself coz I looked so much like him…hehehe. It was fun..then we had lunch at this restaurant called rain forest. It was a jungle like place and my seat was near a Gorilla that actually moves from time to time and I didn’t knew that.So,I was enjoying my meal when suddenly I hear a loud voice near me and the gorilla moving…I freakeddd out big time…loool Overall, I don’t like Disney!
Sunset at Venice Venice beach Venice beach Britney Spears Lovers…:P Chinese Theatre Hollywood Hills This is where the Oscars are held every year Spending a day in Hollywood and Beverly Hills was a different kind of experience where you see the lifestyle of the rich and famous.I met my cousin there that I haven’t seen for nearly seven years.He took me around in Hollywood and showed me most of the famous people homes..i mean mansions coz truly speaking your talking about huge homes that have no boundaries and worth more than 100 M dollars.I was happy also to see the chinese theatre in hollywood city and also the kodak theatre where the oscars are held annually and not to forget the hollywood walk of fame…I searched for nearly 30 mins to find Madonna’s star but time was running out and I had to go.We headed after that to Beverly Hills where we had dinner at Beverly Hills hotel with my cousin.After dinner we headed to venice beach which was so much fun.You see all the wierdest type of people that you can imagine,people half naked,others smoking marijuana,some singing,playing piano…others just going nuts….I LMAO…:) We ended up driving to Santa Monica,then rodeo drive where you see all the high end garment shops.And we stopped then at Sunset Blvd…which was my favorite places..we met there the actress who starred in “The Devil wears Prada” i guess her name was Anne Hathaway. My day was amazinggg…:))
I had a chance to go to many clubs during my stay in Vegas.What you see there is a whole different experience than partying in other places….esp the girls!! All I saw was models and models….and mingling with them was so easyyyyy….:P Some of the good clubs i enjoyed was PURE and Tryst…these were hot spots in Vegas…here below are some pics…Enjoy:))
Also I had the chance to see Le Reve, it’s like Cirque De Soleil,this show was breath taking …I was amazed by the performance of the acrobats,the whole setup was well organized and more than fantastic…
Leaving to Vegas was an excitement for me and we intentionally went by car to explore the path to Sin City..I was counting the hours to get there, three and a half hours was like 3 mins coz we have the best times on the road…it was soo much fun..as we approached the valley in Sierra Nevada and the tall buildings started to show..it was daytime so we had the best to see at night…I was amazed by the hotels..the architecture…we had a stop at Wynn for lunch. Going into Wynn was like a dream because I’ve never seen a hotel in my life with such a luxury..Silk and Velvet walls,chairs made of ostrich leather…crystal chandeliers ..what i heard that Wynn cost 50 billion dollars. And it’s obvious coz everything I saw in it was perfect!! After lunch,we went to Ceasers for check in and take a rest before hitting Vegas at night. Ceasers has a roman style with so much statues and fountains. This hotel is one of the oldest in Vegas and it still rocks! We were on the 44th floor with the Bellagio view from our window and their famous fountain that dances on the songs of Frank Sinatra… We spend two restless nights in Vegas jumping from hotel to another and hitting all clubs where we attended the best parties you could ever have in your life.There are many stories to tell when you’re in Vegas but the saying is always “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas”….to be continued

The start of every year in LA has to be an amazing day.It’s a tradition now that on the first day of every new year the ROSE BOWL parade will take place. Around 50 floats of flowers sponsored by companies and banks roamed the streets of Pasadena displaying their wonderful designs which are mainly main of flowers and vegetables.We can say it was a nature day.It takes a year to prepare for such event with the help of volunteers from schools and colleges all across LA. LA is the city of restaurants where you can find a diverse range of cuisines.I ate in many nice restaurants and gained extra pounds. Try new restaurants and pubs is a good hobby for me when I’m abroad. I ate at many places such as the below. One of the best burger places I’ve tried and I have to say it’s the best in the world is IN and OUT Burgers.Their burgers are so delicious that you can’t resist…even the menu is so simple that they only have hamburger and cheeseburger… Cheesecake factory is WOOOOOW!! PF Chang is a chinese american chain that is growing strong in LA and their food is great..I loved their soups.. No need of comment on Cafe Bellagio…it’s fancy as the hotel itself…:) The famous hotdog place in LA where I waited 40 mins to get my order Good sweet house where their apples are amazing…yummmy Local Chinese Restaurant where you feel like your in China…their food just rocks! Good place to be where you can find more than 100 type of draft beer….:)
My third day in LA was the craziest shopping time in my life.We went to the outlets in Palms Springs Desert Hills,it was an hour away but it was worth it.Upon arriving we had to wait like 25 mins to find a parking space.The whole place was packed since the sales was going on. At first I didn’t give that much attention to the place and even I wasn’t planning to shop that much since I got so many clothes already left in my closet.My cousin was so evil with me…she made me enter every single store and buy stuff…we had to walk back three times to load the car then go back for another round of shopping…I was shocked by the sales…it was like 70% and we already had coupons since my cousin is a VIP member in many outlets..imagine I got stuff for like 90% off..for example I got a DnG shirt which was originally priced for 380$ only 104$ not to mention some great sweaters from Ralph Lauren,Armani,..jeans from Rock and Republic,Diesel…as for Diesel i got a pair for only 58$…:ppp I swiped everything that day nearly…LOL
I went to the states with one bag and came back with four…:) I spend a whole day after coming back to kuwait throwing clothes and shoes…akeed i didnt put them in trash..I send them to some institutions…Anyways I made the best of shopping there and will definitely repeat it again…LOVE U COUSIN…:)
I woke up early morning hearing the dogs barking on my door to get in…once i let them in they started jumping on my bed…i misss them soo much…it was their shopping day,so we took them to a pet mall where I was surprised to see a huge place twice the size of sultan just for pets…the dogs even had their own spa and hair saloon…it was fun having them around but then they got nervous when seeing other dogs so we had to take them back home and then continue our journey.We headed to fashion island in New Port which is considered a high end place in OC. I got some good stuff from there.
My trip was a blast and it started in Amsterdam…:) Although it was a long and tiring trip but it was worth every minute I stayed there…I wished I stayed longer coz there were many places that I didn’t go to but my lovely cousins made sure that I went to the places I like and without them my trip wouldn’t have been a blast…I’m still not adapting the idea that I’m back to Kuwait…still jetlagged and can’t sleep.
