Cuts Review…

Good Morning Everyone,hope you all had a nice weekend . Well as usual, discovering new restaurants is the best you can do on weekends in Kuwait. This weekend I had the chance to go to ” CUTS ” in Movenpick Shuwaikh. I haven’t heard about this place before although I know many restaurants but I usually don’t go to that area. One word describes everything, that restaurant is just amazing. If you want to enjoy the spanish music while eating good food you got to visit CUTS . I’m not going into details I’ll leave you to judge that place. And for those who value good food it’s worth paying to dine in CUTS.

Yoshiro Nakamatsu…

Do we ever think about the person who invented stuff we use everyday ? What’s the origin? Reading this morning about a Japanese inventor named Yoshiro got me so interested to know more about this guy. He is considered to be one of the greatest minds in human history with more than 3000 patented inventions. He received the Nutrition nobel prize because he’s been photographing and analyzing his meal for a whole 36 years. And he does most of his inventions underwater. He has a life goal for himself to live more than 144 years and every day he eats a special mixture of dried shrimp, seaweed, cheese, yogurt, eel, eggs, beef, and chicken livers all fortified with vitamins. Some of his inventions are the floppy disk, CD , DVD , digital watch, taxicab meter and much more.

This is my first time hearing about this guy and I guess many of you haven’t heard of him too.

Gulf Bank New Dana Campaign…

Gulf Bank recently launched its New Dana Campaign that grants 5 weekly winners. On the contrary, last year there was only 3 winners each for a 1 million KD prize. This year, one weekly winner for a 10,000 KD prize and 5 weekly winners for 1000 KD prize. Then a monthly winner for 100,000 KD prize and a yearly winner for 500,000 KD prize.

The minimum amount required to enter the draw is 400 KD. In addition, you will be issued the DANA deposit card in case you want to deposit into your Dana account outside banking hours. I guess this year campaign is much better than the previous ones. So hurry up and open a Dana Account at Gulf Bank.

Banks going bankrupt in UK…

It seems this year will not be pleasant for many banks and financial institutions. Speculations shows that many banks and other financing companies will go bankrupt. More than 14 banks in UK are filing bankruptcy. One the major banks, Lloyds in London is filing for bankruptcy after it’s share price fell for more than 20%. The government is planning to buy 70% of its shares to rescue the bank. This is really scary, big banks are losing, people are jobless, others are starving…nothing seems to be on the right track. We just have to wait and see when this turmoil will be over.

We all have to be patient, and to thank GOD for what we’re enjoying now. At least we still have our homes and jobs.

MJ is back on tour…

Rumors are spreading around that Michael Jackson will be touring this summer in London at O2 arena starting July 8. I think it is time for the King of Pop to come back after an absence of nearly 12 years. So to all MJ fans prepare yourselves for something big from MJ this summer hopefully.
