Manolo Blahnik , a spanning 30 years career in the shoes industry has put him in the top influential footwear designers. Manolo born in canary islands from a spanish mother and czech father. He studied in Geneva languages and art and then moved to Paris in 1965. He moved to NY in 1970 and then to London in 1971 where his career blossomed when Ossie Clark one of the famous designers used his shoes. In 1973 he opened his first shoe store in London’s Chelsea.
His reputation quickly florished all around the world where he was honored and awarded for his work that held a lot of art. In 2003 his shoes were displayed in London design museum and in 2005 he was asked to design shoes for the actor who took the role of Marie Antoinette.
He has a huge passion for arts and crafts and he’s revealing it in his shoes that he designs.
