Happy Birthday Maze…

Today is special for me because it comes every four years once. Yes, I was born in a leap year which is rare to happen for most people. During all these years, I used to celebrate my bday on the 1st of March , and every four years I celebrate on the 29th of Feb. Isn’t that cool??

I want to thank all my cousins, friends who send their wishes through FB, twitter , calls or sms. Your presence in my life means a lot to me and without your love I wouldn’t have existed.

A big thank you and appreciation goes to my Dad and Mom for devoting their lives for my well being. They always stood by me during my good and bad times and always showed me love when no one was around. God bless them for me and bless all parents in the world.

2nd Concert for Madonna in AD…

No one expected that all tickets for Madonna’s concert in Abu Dhabi will be sold out within the first 30 minutes, actually in 20 minutes too! I managed to get mine after 10 attempts and it was a big relief for me. Due to the vast demand of tickets and record sales in a limited period the organizers decided to host another concert for the Queen on June 4th.

Omega celebrating James Bond 007…

Omega celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of the first James Bond film with the launch of two commemorative limited edition watches, a press conference and a showcase of props from every James Bond film at its new Westfield Stratford boutique in London.

The event was opened by Omega president Stephen Urquhart, who introduced two Seamaster Diver watches in two sizes. The Diver is distinguished by a red “50” on its diving bezel, a reminder that it is celebrating a special anniversary. Head of product development, Jean-Claude Monachon, was joined by Lindy Hemming, the costume designer who selected the Omega Seamaster for James Bond in GoldenEye in 1995.

Madonna tickets on sale today…

Madonna will be performing in Abu Dhabi on June 3rd , this will be her first time performing in a GCC country. Tickets will go on sale today at midday on ticketmaster website with prices that will range from 250 AED to 2250 AED.

For those who want to go, you better get your laptop ready at 12 noon and book from now because definitely all the tickets will be sold out within hours.

Italian Circus…

I had the chance to go to the Italian circus tonight which was quite a good show. I can’t even recall when was my last time been in a circus. It brought me back to my childhood memories. I booked the front row ticket which was only 7 kd:p

And the highlight of my night was holding a boa on my neck. My friend was encouraging me to do it so I had to challenge my long time phobia against snakes. Thanks God I didn’t panic that much lol

It’s a MAN’s World…

Shurooq Amin , a Kuwaiti artist, a lady who is full of passion for Arts and anything that has beauty , will be hosting an exhibition under the name “It’s a man’s World ” . Shurooq is a brilliant and talented artist that proved over the years that she can touch the hearts of people through her paintings. Her previous work maintained a special placed for her between international artists where she was able to invade major cities presenting her art work.

In her exhibition “It’s a Man’s World” she interrogates many issues and explores the part of society that had been previously untouchable and non-debatable for its moral and social integrity, focusing on the Man, his habits, his lifestyle and his dreams. It is concurrently an unveiling of man’s hypocrisy as well as a celebration of man and life.

The gallery will take place in Salhiya Complex on March 5th till April 1,2012 from Sun-Thu 10-3 and 5-9 at the Mezzanine Floor , AL M Gallery.
