Astra with LOVE…

Tonight I went with friends to Astra Lounge since it’s very relaxing and chilling there.The best thing about Astra is simply the atmosphere, nothing more.The outdoor seating is not your typical restaurant seating but much more of a lounge, hence, the name I suppose. There is not much of a view, unless you call watching others a view, that is, when there are others to watch. The trendy lounge music enhances the atmosphere,also with the good food and service they have.
I recommend you guys to give it a try!

BMW recalling 1.3 million cars worldwide!

German car maker BMW is recalling 1.3 million cars over problems with a battery cable cover which could in extreme cases cause a fire.

The cable is found in the boot of the car.The worldwide recall affects 5 and 6-Series models made between 2003 and 2010 and includes 109,000 cars in the UK.”This can result in the electrical system malfunctioning, the vehicle failing to start and, in some cases, to charring or fire.”

The issue came to light through the continuous testing and development of BMW vehicles and some customer feedback.No incidents of this kind have so far been reported, the car maker added.

BMW said that it would be writing to car owners to warn them about the defect.

I tried tonight Blimpie sandwiches and it was really good. It’s the same concept like Subway but I found blimpie more healthier and cleaner. They are owned by Villa Fairouz and their place is located in Midan Hawalli near AIS school.

A7lam and her 1 million dollar dress…

Ahlam the Emirati singer appeared in the last episode of Arab Idol wearing a shiny dress that most people I know didn’t like where some thought that she will explode like fireworks. Apparently the dress came up to worth more than 1 Million Dollars and more precise 1.3 Million. She wanted to design a dress that will go with her diamond set that she was wearing which is also worth around 2 million dollars. So Ahlam had to make a dress with the finest fabrics and integrate in it more than 40 Karats of diamonds that will match the diamond set she was wearing. Well she was really bling bling that night. I hope she doesn’t follow Lady Gaga soon and come up with weird outfits!

Queen Elizabeth ” World’s Famous Crasher”

 

Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II has become a wedding crasher.The monarch dropped in moments after the nuptials of John and Frances Canning at Manchester Town Hall in northern England on Friday.

The newlyweds said Saturday the queen chatted and posed for wedding photographs. The queen and her husband Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, were visiting the venue for lunch at the same time the wedding took place.

“It was very special — it was so lovely that she took the trouble to speak to us,” bride Frances Canning told The Sun newspaper.

Madonna’s album MDNA is taking over all the #1 chart lists in most countries. Statistics this morning shows that the album is #1 in 26 countries so far.

I pre ordered mine since 3 weeks ago hopefully I’ll get it end of this month:D

I’m Back…

I was in Beirut for a short visit and came back to Kuwait. In these 4 days my favorite hangout spot was Zaytouna Bay. Literally you can spend hours there without being bored. I loved it and would visit more often!
