PechaKucha Night was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public.

It has turned into a massive celebration, with events happening in hundreds of cities around the world, inspiring creatives worldwide. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of conversation (“chit chat”), it rests on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds.
It’s a format that makes presentations concise, and keeps things moving at a rapid pace.

The presentation format was devised by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham of Klein Dytham architecture. The first PechaKucha Night was held in Tokyo in their gallery, lounge, bar, club, creative kitchen SuperDeluxe in February 2003. Klein Dytham architecture still organize and support the global PechaKucha Night network and organise PechaKucha Night Tokyo.

PechaKucha Nights are informal and fun gatherings where creative people get together and share their ideas, works, thoughts, holiday snaps – just about anything really, in the PechaKucha 20×20 format.

So the 3rd PechaKucha night will be held tonight in Movenpick resort – Al Bidaa from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.

The topic might indicate many definitions to you guys, however no,I’m talking about my friend,my colleague at work and my source for many things. Yes ,loopgum.com is a blogger who has passion for fashion, music and food.  There isn’t one day that passes without checking his blog for new singles,even artists I haven’t heard of before. Not to mention his passion for food and he’s a good cook too…I saw but didn’t taste yet. Meeting him , proved to me that the person I know from blogging is the same person in reality. No changes in character…very simple person, good listener, fashionable, kind and worth having him a friend if not a brother.

My relation with loopgum reminds me of Frankom another blogger who I really appreciate his friendship. All the bloggers I met in person to be honest ,are amazing people and worth having as friends.

Loopgum keep it up and hit me more with good music and food…:P

This picture goes back to 1996 when Madonna first met the famous designers Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce who are behind the luxury brand of clothing Dolce and Gabbana.

Madonna once again and exclusively is going to showcase the spring/summer 2010 collection for Dolce and Gabbana. Shooting started 3 days ago by the famous photographer Steven Klein in New York. 

Madonna first met the designers Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce back in the early nineties and have retained a strong bond and mutual respect ever since.  After first meeting the global superstar whilst she was on the set of Dick Tracey in New York, the designers went onto design her costumes for the now iconic, “The Girlie Show” tour in 1993. 

As Dolce & Gabbana’s spring/summer 2010 collection returned to the Italian roots of the brand, evoking its strong heritage and revisiting iconic pieces such as the corset (the designer’s finale was composed solely of corsets) it seemed only fitting that Madonna, who embodies both the strong sensuality of the brand and who shares an Italian heritage with the designers should be the one to showcase the Sicilian inspired collection.

On Madonna appearing in their forthcoming campaign, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana said,

“To have Madonna in our campaign is a dream come true”.

I didn’t had the chance to go and see Beyonce in Port Ghaleb however I got feedback from friends that the concert was amazing and she was happy to perform in an Arab country. Well my friend was lucky to be in the front row and get so many blow kisses from her…:P and she even shook his hand..:P

Well I love B and I worship Madge more…let’s see if Madonna will have a tour in 2010 hopfully.

When I was at avenues yesterday I passed by pinkberry to see why the people are excited about this place . Well the idea is great as well as the interior design. So I waited in queue and suddenly as I was checking the fruit toppings I saw something black digging in on of the containers. I couldn’t express how I felt but it was  FLY. I told the guy to remove the container and throw everything but it seems they only removed the fly and returned the container. I left right away without ordering.

I will stick to napket because they have the best iced yogurt.
