I’m back from vacation which was for nearly three weeks in Beirut.I used to open my eyes to lots of greenery each day which was so relaxing for me!

Muscat 2nd best in 2012…
Muscat is the world’s second best tourism destination to visit in 2012, according to the travel guide published by Lonely Planet.
At the top of list of ten is London, followed by Bangalore in India, the Spanish city of Cadiz, Swedish capital Stockholm, Guimaraes in Portugal, Santiago in Chile, Hong Kong, Orlando in USA and Darwin in Australia.

As usual, Lady Gaga stole the show at Clinton’s charity fundraiser, “A Decade of Difference.” The event was to honor former President Bill Clinton on his 65th birthday.
Wearing a blonde wig, Gagaperformed three of her greatest hits for the star-packed crowd. Born This Way, Bad Romance and Edge of Glory kept the crowd on their feet, but Gaga wasn’t done with her bag of tricks just yet!
Palestine UN Bid…
Palestine became a full member of the U.N. cultural and educational agency Monday, in a highly divisive move that the United States and other opponents say could harm renewed Mideast peace efforts.
U.S. lawmakers had threatened to withhold roughly $80 million in annual funding to UNESCO if it approved Palestinian membership. The United States provides about 22 percent of UNESCO’s funding.
Huge cheers went up in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization after delegates approved the membership in a vote of 107-14 with 52 abstentions. Eighty-one votes were needed for approval in a hall with 173 UNESCO member delegations present.
Bye Bye Ghadaffi….
Yesterday witnessed the death of a dictator who ruled his country for 42 years. Al Ghadaffi was caught and killed by the rebels his fellow Libyans. Democracy is emerging in Arab countries however I hope that the people will not ruin what they’ve achieved.

Miss Angola was crowned Miss Universe 2011 last night in Brazil where the event was held.
