Soldier of Love # 1…

Soldier of Love moved over 500,000 copies in its first week alone to nab the top spot, fending off competition from Lady Antebellum, Jaheim, Lil’ Wayne, and Josh Turner.

Sade have topped the US album chart with their comeback album Soldier Of Love.

The record, which was produced with longtime collaborator Mike Pela, sold 502,000 copies in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Sade previously topped the Billboard 200 with 1986 album Promise.

Lady Antebellum’s Need You Now, which spent two weeks at the top of the chart, slips one place to two.
