The French shoe designer, whose claim to fame came in the early 1990s with women’s stilettos of skyrocketing heel proportions and his signature red-lacquered soles, is now at the top of the Holy Trinity of the luxury footwear market with his flashy, ever-changing designs among the classic mainstays.
